Furnace

A little less sore on my third day of Insanity. I feel a difference already for sure, that shit turns your body into a furnace.

That being said, I’m exhausted.

I’ve decided this summer is for self-improvement. Mind and body. All that shit.

Insanity

I’ve just started Insanity. The intense, energy draining, but-at-least-you-look-good-in-a-swimsuit-that-is-if-you-can-even-muster-the-strength-to-drag-yourself-to-the-beach, 60 day workout.

Yesterday was the Fit Test and today is whatever the next workout is. I’m still in bed, I haven’t gotten up yet to check.

I did the Fit Test around noon, was lazy and recovering for the better part of the day, then felt like I had more energy so I went for a fifteen minute run around the block.  That’s all I can really do right now unfortunately, I have some awful shin splints in my right leg and I’m literally limping while I jog. I must look hysterical.

Anyway then I was sore but had to be social and meet my friends at an ice cream place, but instead of eating deliciously creamy, trans fat-ladened soft-serve I brought a protein bar.

Oh, that’s another thing, I’m going to try and do the nutrition. My goal is to do it until I weigh 130 lbs (I’m 140 right now) and then go back to normal eating.

Because I love to eat. I love food. I’m a foodie. And these 5 meals at 300 calories each are all well and good but call me crazy I like to have a little flexibility in my cooking beyond which 4 oz. protein to use tonight.

So, let’s see how today goes.
